Shannon Shadix (formerly Echevarria), M.A. LPC

Licensed Professional Counselor

Shannon Shadix is a licensed professional counselor in the state of Georgia. She received her master’s in professional counseling from Mid America Nazarene University in Olathe, Kansas.

Shannon's experience began in 2014 at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Newnan, GA working with patients with cancer, and their families. Her experience also includes community-based treatment with patients with schizophrenia and bipolar disorders, in their homes, in incarceration, or in psychiatric hospitals. Most recently she has been working with clients in ministry non-profit, as well as counseling clients through an online platform.

Shannon’s goal is to provide a healthy therapeutic relationship in a safe environment, walk alongside patients, to instill hope, set and reach goals in therapy to live their healthiest life. She is focused on working with patients at their comfort level, to create alternative ways of thinking and coping with feelings and life circumstances. Shannon provides services to adults on a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, stress management, life changes/transition, end-of-life, grief/loss, relationship issues and adjustment disorders.

Kelly Schleismann, Ph.D,, BCBA

Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Schleismann is a doctorate level licensed psychologist in the state of Georgia as of June 2016. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in psychology at Louisiana State University in 2003. Her Master’s degree in clinical psychology was awarded from Auburn University at Montgomery in 2007. Dr. Schleismann earned her Ph.D. from Auburn University in 2014. While at Auburn, she also received specialized training and courses in Applied Behavior Analysis. She completed a Pre-Doctoral internship at the Marcus Autism Center where she worked in the Language and Learning, Feeding, and Severe Behavior clinics treating children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and their families. She remained at Marcus for a Post-Doctoral Fellowship through Emory University to further specialize in language and skill acquisition as well as parent training and consultation. Dr. Schleismann treats a wide range of clinical needs for children, adolescents, adults, and families; including those related to autism and other developmental disabilities, emotional and behavioral problems, and family struggles; providing services such as evaluations for Autism Spectrum Disorders, behavioral and psychological evaluations, behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, and parent consultation/training.

 

Trey Twiford, M.A., LMFT, LPC

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor

Trey Twiford is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Georgia and Louisiana. He has completed a bachelor’s degree in Counseling with a dual major in Biblical Studies and a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy/Professional Counseling from Johnson University in Knoxville, TN. Trey is currently working on a PhD at the University of Louisiana Monroe.

Trey has 5 years of experience working with people between his time spent in Tennessee and Louisiana. He has worked with homeless ministries, non-profit organizations, court system programs, and various counseling centers. He also has led workshops at non-profit and state conferences covering such topics as parenting, supervision of therapists, and skills for therapy.

Trey provides services to adults, couples, and families across a variety of issues, with a focus on guiding couples and families to rebuild relationships.

Trey has extensive therapy experience with couples communication issues, conflict resolution, family stresses, family roles, blended family transitions, parenting skills, anxiety, and depression.

Zane Scarborough, Ph.D.

Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Scarborough is a doctorate level licensed psychologist in the state of Georgia, having been licensed since 2006, after first receiving licensure in Mississippi in 2005. He completed his Bachelor’s degree, majoring in Psychology, at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Georgia in 1998. His Master’s degree, in Guidance and Counseling, was obtained from The University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia in 2000. He was awarded his Ph.D. at The University of Georgia in 2004, after completing a Pre-Doctoral Internship at the Mississippi State Hospital in Whitfield, Mississippi. Dr. Scarborough completed his post-doctoral study at the Mississippi State Hospital where he worked as a staff psychologist, then moved to Newnan, Georgia in 2006. He has over 10 years of experience in the private practice setting, where he works primarily with children, adolescents, and their families. Dr. Scarborough specializes in treatment interventions for depression, anxiety, behavior problems, attention deficits, social skill building, and parent training. In addition to counseling and therapy, Dr. Scarborough also conducts psychological evaluations and psycho-educational evaluations.
